Grade 2 students at Beatrice Strong Public School in the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board embraced the Who Is Nobody? program.
Read below to see how NOBODY is getting on at Beatrice Strong Public School.
Eight year-old Madison Thibault (centre) presents four dozen toys including books, puzzles, stuffed animals, games and even two
quilts to the nurses of 2B Medical Surgical Unit and Birthing Suites at Northumberland Hills Hospital.
The NOBODY Project is a character building exercise that the grade 2 students of Beatrice Strong Public School recently completed. Each student had a chance to complete a project of their choice with the NOBODY doll that had something to do with community.
Each student adds a chapter to the NOBODY story about their experience. Madison decided to canvass her neighbourhood and invite her neighbours to make a contribution of unopened toys or books for the young patients who are admitted to NHH.
Also joining Madison at the presentation were her mom Erica and little sister Sierra (far left).
Thank you to Madison and all her family and neighbours for taking part and making this experience memorable.
