All 27 children did something...I'm so proud of them— Anne Lefebvre, grade 6 teacherAnne Lefebvre’s Grade 6 class at Queen Elizabeth Public School in Renfrew decided to help out this holiday season by raising money to buy a gift for a child on the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree.
The class walked to Walmart and split into six teams to shop for three boys and three girls.
“They had so much fun choosing presents. After we paid, they donated the rest of the money to the Salvation Army kettle. The Walmart staff and customers were so pleased they gave the kids a round of applause,” said Lefebvre.
