Who Is NOBODY? is a literacy based character education program that is used at St Josephs Catholic School in the Renfrew County Catholic District School Board.
Read below to see how NOBODY is getting got at St Josephs Catholic School.
Last week the grade 7/8 students welcomed Nobody into our class. He arrived as a surprise from Mrs. Rowat and the excitement has continued to rise. Nobody is a blue denim doll that has absolutely no feelings, gender, friends, age, character, and no emotions.
This program encourages youth to bring about social change in their community and the greater world by donating their time, bringing about awareness, or offering to collect materials for an organization. Each student will take home Nobody for one week and work to make a small difference in their community. They will attach a 3-D item to Nobody to represent their cause. After all students have taken Nobody home we hope to accomplish making Nobody a Somebody.
Please encourage our students when you see them with Nobody to bring about positive change in our community!
